My 135i is really a much nicer car, but my '08 STi takes it for me! It was just always competent no matter what. Rain, dirt, mud or a racetrack, it would whoop you w/ 4 people and a massive amount of stuff in the back The brakes were ungodly and you felt more comfortable the faster you went, which seems to be the opposite of the 1.

My 06 M6 GTO. The ride was great, front and rear seats are hands down the best seats for driving short or long distances, the power was great and the gas mileage was awesome on nice stretches of road (up to 27 MPG cruising even with ~50 more rwhp). I could go on but thats the main highlights of the car. The only bad side was what GM called a trunk. Basically enough for 2 golf bags stacked on top of each other.

The 135i is a nice car, but the suspension was massively terrible from the factory and the car is unreliable as sin.

My 07 STi was probably the best car I have owned all around. Also had an 04 R32 which was very nice.

Best cars I have ever driven - Porsche. Just can't beat the driving experience you get from them and they're tough as nails. 997 Carrera S is fantastic. Take it out to dinner, take it to the hardware store and take it to the track.

Fastest car - Roush Cobra. 650+ horsepower is just silly...

The car I'm driving right now.

My number two would be my 1987 325is:

You sure? I've heard quite the opposite. I thought they were great niche sports cars but that makes them complicated and finicky. One guy on this forum even commented that he never went for a milk run without his toolkit. Granted that was an older Porsche but still. And 've read several posts online about early to late 2000 Boxster's had engines that blew up and had to be replaced.

Fuel pumps be damned, at least the N54/N55 doesn't completely self destruct...

Very surprised to hear that... The naturally aspirated 911's are all very bullet proof in my experience. Just rag on that engine all day long and it will keep on going. They're one of the only cars where the road cars and racing cars are manufactured in the same facility. I also enjoy them because they can be scary at the limit and it takes a skilled driver to take one to the limit. Jeremy Clarkson doesn't like them probably because he can't drive it well... Laser precision steering because of no weight over the front end, subtle styling and a motor that screams like a banshee... 996 Turbo S cabriolet (GT2 turbos/intercoolers) with a downpipe, reflash and intakes was one of the fastest cars I have ever been in.

My old man's 05 911 S.

I loved my 2006 Audi A4 2.0T. Had it for 7 years and put a lot of work into it, but fell in love with my 135i much more the second I drove it. Now just need to work out the kinks with some SES lights

Cool... I think BMW switched to the more aesthetically appealing plastic bumpers in 1988...

Yup, it was the most potent BMW I owned until this car... I hit 125mph with it back in the day... With three passengers in the car.

Now that I look back, it was a rather stupid thing to do.

This is tough. Each one had its place and reason. My first sports car 1976 Camaro - lot of sweat and love in that car. Engine was bored tuned and loud. A teenagers dream. The next special one is a 1995 Toyota 4x4 that truck took a beating and went for ever. I ran it as a work truck went about 70,000 miles a year rolled it over once and it was hit by a logging truck once. The engine finally made me work on it at 200,000 plus just before the fourth oil change. It was still running with two bent valves two spun bearings and one seized piston. Then there is my Boxster for the look and the pure sports car can't be beat. Really miss it bad.
Hope the 128 becomes the next one that I won't forget. So far it looks good.

So far my 135 is my favorite but I just test drove my next car... Seeing as I am going back to a 4 door and refuse to compromise on performance or luxury I have found a new favorite.... The Jaguar XF Supercharged 5.0L V8. That car drives like a Maserati or Aston Martin for a fraction of the price and even steals the rear design from the Aston Martin!
