Curbed my Rim!

Ok, so to make a long story short, my front right rim apparently hit a curb and the rim of the rim is gashed up a few inches....the damage isn't bad, but its definitely an eyesore and obviously looks like it hit something. My question is, can I refinish the rim? it's the Stock Non MSport 135i Rim. Does BMW cover the Rim under the wheel and tire warranty?

They won't cover it for accidental damage.

You should be able to refinish it without too much trouble. I forget who, but there is some company that sells a kit/paint that is an exact OEM match.

Was wondering if anybody knew of any good wheel repair shops in Los Angeles? I dont really like the idea of painting over the damage. Would rather have it refurbished, powdercoat all the rims blac, or just buy a wheel

Are they the stock 17" rims? If so, I have a friend selling a set with tires for around $700 with about 6,000 miles on them.

I just had my 264's powder coated and really like the look.

to OP... i know exactly how you feel. i have been very good thusfar with my 1er but with my previous car (s4) i was not so fortunate. with that car i actually found this company who has a whole setup in a truck that they drive around and repair rims in the back of the truck. i forget the name but i think they are a national chain. it was about 100-150 per wheel and it was worth every penny. the rims looked like new when the dude was done... i am on the east coast but i think you can find them out west there. good luck!

Why you ask? Because Son Tran came to my house today and fixed my curb rashed LM's.
