Suspension options for 135i
I'm tossing up between whether I would like Accuair bags or MCA Gold Series coilovers for my 2008 135i
What are the pros and cons of both (or even just bags vs coilovers) performance wise? I know it's a little like comparing apples to oranges Realistically I have narrowed down to these 2 options because, as far as my suspension goes, I either want to go all out and do it properly or not at all At ~$AUD2500 a corner though, MCA is significantly pricier than nearly all other suspension options (I'm going to be saving up for quite a while, or winning lotto haha), is it worth it? Has anyone had any experience with these coilovers? |

If you want custom go JRZ they have more experience with BMW's. MCA is more a Suburau/Evo thing

obviously I'm looking at 2 very different options, I'm thinking I might head towards slamming my car though so air is probably a more realistic option at this point |

BMWlady - Digging up an old thread here. I saw you've decided to keep your car. Did you make any progress on the suspension front? I've been curious myself whether MCA in Australia have done any suspension for the 135i to date. I've no doubt they could produce a very high calibre setup similar to the likes of TC Kline double adjustable and Ohlins Road & Track used in the US. Fill me in on any detail you have in your discussions with them

Last discussion was not overly productive. They have done a 130i and one 135 apparently however they did seem reluctant to do any further ones at this time (from what I could gather more focused on jdm at the moment). Will keep you posted as this develops over conversations with them. Ideally I would really like MCA to do my suspension |
