Urgh no.
I believe the "Accord Euro" is a high quality and well regarded Japanese built 4 cylinder sedan and the "Accord V6" is a Thai built vehicle that isn't held in as high regard as the Euro. |

The Euro Accord/TSX is pretty quick, wouldn't call it fast though. Handles well enough for a sedan and as long as you don't mind reving the K24, it does a good job of moving it around. I've heard good things about the diesel Type S, but I've driven one.
The NA/Asia Accord with the V6 is faster in straight line speed, but it also has an extra 70 hp or so. It's quite a bit larger (the sedan actually falls into the full size category in the US) but it's not a bad drive for a larger sedan/coupe. As with most Honda's, they're both FWD.

They are not fast. They do not have turbos. They fall into the same category as the Toyota Camry.
That being said however, the Accord Euro is an excellent choice for a mid/full sized sedan. It's right up there with the Mazda 6 in terms of dynamics and quality. If you're looking for a reliable, cheap family hauler then the Accord is a great choice. The K24 is a sweet unit as well. Still, you have to keep in mind that it's not in the same league as our 1ers. Wouldn't call them terrible cars though.

Heh, Accord Euro? That is an Acura TSX in the US. A friend has one, it is a glitzed up Accord, but the suspension is pretty squishy and the brakes just don't cut it. To get the car to run like a BMW, you'd spend maybe $10,000 - $15000, so it makes more sense to just buy a CPO 128i and move on.

Plus, it is about half the price of a 125i, and a Japanese family hauler is not really comparable to a German coupe. dh58 mate how is it possible that a 4 banger Honda sedan could give your twin-turbo monster trouble?

My inlaws and parents both own the 1st and 2nd gen Accord Euro respectively. While they are in no way red light weapons or anything of this sort; their bang for your buck in terms of 'goodies' and non performance specs far outweighs many other cars for the price.
My Dad was surprised to see how little standard luxury specs my 135i has in comparison to something costing half the price. |

While having not driven an Accord Euro, I do have a work colleague that has one and she swears by them. I think Honda have done a great job in their offering as an alternative to the small executive sedan market at a great price. If I was in that market, it would certainly be an option for value-for-money. |

That's the reason why the Honda tuning scene is so huge. Their engine's have great potential; even stock they are relatively quick. Take this K24 equipped Civic for example... laps Eastern Creek in 1:38
