Cooling problem?
Help! Recently my car went into limp mode and the yellow thermostat sign went on which eventually turns into red, indicating an overheating engine. All power is cut off at this point and the computer prevents the engine from revving. The fan is on full blast. However my engine is running at a very cold temperature. It is unable to heat up because the fan starts up at full blast right away even though the engine is still cold. Have any of you guys experienced something similar to this? Could it just be a malfunctioning sensor?

Get your water pump and thermostat changed. This is a common problem past 50k
