128 PE to 135i N55 engine

Wondering if anybody here installed a 128i PE to a 135i N55 engine. How was it? Thank you

im pretty sure the 128i PE is just an axle-back. anyways, since the 135/128 have the same mufflers it will sound good.

my recommendation is to do a secondary cat delete and upgrade the axle-back. EG. you can do a PE mod to your current muffler, or replace with something like a Magnaflow which is what I did. note that an axle-back upgrade or a secondary cat delete without each other wont be that loud.

this is what my setup sounds like (magnaflow muffler + secondary cat delete)

note that the flyby/takeoff video is much louder in person, but this is what you can expect your car to sound like more or less.

It can be done, but be aware that the exhaust pipe diameter is smaller on a 128i than the 135i. So you will be making your flow more restrictive.
