Looks good man! Did you get 2 sets of vents? Or are they always open? I suppose it's easier to have them open and find a way to close them than having to find a way to open them.

The bump is not pointless, it allows a bit of extra air movement space in the underside of the hood for air to circulate and escape via the vents if theyre open.

What you mean? You talking about the other hood with the lower vents? I was simply saying the bump on the hood is actually functional, allows a bit more space under the hood for air to circulate and escape via the vents.

Yup the non m3 hood has the same bump but the vents aren't functional. So what purpos does the bulge serve for that hood other than aesthetics?

Pretty much that..why I figured if I ever did go with one of these hoods, id go with the M3 hood, otherwise id be more inclined to go with the Vors hood. I just really dont wanna hafta do the hoodpin shit, which is why I really want concrete answers from ICarbon as to whether or not they are really necessary for people who dont constantly take their cars over 110mph.

Looks like I should be getting my hood pins back next week after dropping them off for paint. Had to remove the eyelids because it looked too busy in the front... will post update shortly...
