Ordering exhaust tips

I have been searching the site regarding the exhaust tips for the 325 and noticed that many seem to be buying those for the 330 (p/n 18 30 7 549 558). Just want to be certain that these do fit on the 325xi and are the ones that do not require a screw. Also, I tried searching for the 330 exhuast tips on both Circle and pacific BMW web sites but am unable to find them. Anyone know how to locate them on the site, or do you have to call in order to get them?

330i one goes all the way back to the box, is smooth, has a internal clamping system that makes it very very difficult to remove.

325i after factory fitment one is shorter, use screws to hold it on that can be easily removed making the tips easy to remove, and the tips arnt totally smooth

nhhiep, from what I have been able to find out is that the 325's exhaust tips use a screw to attach while the 330's are a clip on the inside. Also, I believe that the 330's exhaust tips come as two different part numbers, (p/n 18 30 7 549 558 is longer then p/n 18 30 7 549 559). As a 325 owner we can simply get 2 of the p/n 18 30 7 549 558 (longer ones), link for explanation below.

E90Fleet,

What do you mean by "smooth" for the 330i tips? from the pics above, the only difference that I see is that the ones from 325i looks ugly with a very visible with the screw.

In conclusion for 325i owner, we can simply get 2 of the p/n 18 30 7 549 558? anyone tried this before and do they fit well?

I asked for them from my dealer as an afterthought (thanks e90post) and he put them on for me himself. The charge was $64 for the pair, no labor. I think they look great. One comes out just slightly more than the other.

If you have a 320d with a straight pipe, then there is a single chrome cover available for it.

If you want 2 pipes you would have to get a aftermarket place to fit another exhaust to your car, and this may affect your warranty

Yup, that is what I have. No good pics, but slide right on, no screws required. The look better than the accessory 325 tips IMO.

as i saw this 1st pic ive questioned. But its with bad taste. After i saw the parts numbers and in british volume for E90 320 they have single and twin as acessories. I got confused but i think the change could be the worst solution.

The pipes on that red 320d look good... unlike the //M badge, which looks very tacky

Wait and see

they seem different, smaller, and not real because in 4 cylinders the car as only one exhaust. The battle for the pipes as made several solutions but i shall go for the schnitzer silencer, discrete and very compact.
The red 320d absolutely M with twin pipes (they seem unbalanced)has destroyed my last view of 320.
