BMWCCA Rewards

Has anyone used the BMWCCA Rewards perk before?
If so did you get your reward back pretty quickly after submission?

500 bucks back just for being a member for the last year is not a bad trade off.

Typically less than two months for my purchases. The last one came back in three weeks.

Yup, $500 as in every other 1-series. Was hoping for the "///M" treatment, but nah, just the $500. Still not bad, it is something!

Is the BMWCCA rebate valid on ED cars? I totally forgot about the rebate, and it would be nice to get something for all those years of membership fees!

Yup, just make sure to complete your paperwork on time (i.e. if you plan on staying for long in Europe, submit it from there)

no doubt. Fill the paperwork out promtply and correctly. If it's not it will get dinged. Also.. the vehicle must be titled in the same name as the person that has the BMW CCA membership. So.. if Joe Driver is the CCA member and the car is titled under Jane Driver.. that will be rejected.

One also must be a CCA member for every one of 365 days prior to seeking the award. If your membership lapsed for even a day, no go.

Since both are members I believe so. 1 reward per member per year IIRC.

Here is your homework...

I submitted mine September 28th and received it yesterday (October 17, 2011). Reasonable turnaround.

Much faster this time

Picked up the car 9/26. Just got my check last week. My outgoing X3 took *forever* for the refund.

Just one of many benefits of CCA life!

Got my check in the mail today. Mailed it in early October, got an email confirmation a week later, and my money 2 week after that, not bad at all. If only shipping from Europe was quicker...

i have never been a CCA member and was thinking of signing up. So if i join today are you saying i won't get the rebate because I haven't been a member for the last year?
