Yep that's the only way. There really not that expensive either. You should be able to order it at your local dealerships. Which I recommend to save on shipping. Most dealerships price match other dealerships. So look on getbmwparts.com for the price and take it to your dealership to price match.

I JUST purchased a bumper from this guy..... and I say guy, because it seems like a single person runs that entire business. He has multiple storefronts, selling the same product. Either way, he DID come through w/ the bumper. He said 5-7 days, but it took 5 weeks!

I was luckily able to get a partial discount though, so that worked. I also had to get a bumper w/ rear PDC sensor holes, so that may of taken longer. Also, he is negotiable on price. Just send them a message and negotiate with them. You might be able to save $50 or so. I know I did.

Ok so good experience. Did you ordered it painted ? if yes maybe it can explain the more than expected delay ?

I didn't........ I got it primed. I have other parts to do, so it made more sense to me to get it done locally. If it's your only part, it might be best to get it painted. Might also give you more negotiating power since they're making more profit on the spray as well. I think yours will be sent out faster than mine. Like I said, they modified it for sensor holes and he said they were in the middle of a warehouse move.

Experience ordering painted parts... Never order painted. Always have your local shop match.

Unless maybe your car is jet black or something... But yeah, local is better and you could always get some other stuff done too

Also give Randy at exoparts dot com a try for OEM parts.
They are in Missisauga, have excellent pricing, and fast service.
