Why did you choose Brabham grandstand? I'm probably going to go with either that or V8 corporate box for just Sunday... Unless i can stumble across some unbelievable opportunity

I'm going. Best ticket in town - driving medical car - nothing like sitting on the grid for the start of the support races.
But back when I was a paying punter if you actually want to watch the cars, T3-T4 is the best. T1-T2 second best. The corp facilities on T4 get to see the cars for 10-13 secs, which is one of the longest viewing spots, and is close up against the track. T16 sees the cars the longest, but the corp facilities there are too far away from the track.

I've marshalled at it since '97, and I always enjoyed doing T16, a lot of atmosphere there, and no drunken bogan General Admission spectators T3 is also good, partly because it's nice and shady. |

As my username suggests I'm a racer, so that combined with an interest to give back to the sport (which doesn't happen without volunteers) year around and not just at the AGP, plus being pretty handy at what I do, got me into the role. Been doing for a few years, and been the chase driver for most of those. Albeit BMW refuses to provide vehicles anymore for the event, so we settle for a few E-class Mercs these days.

http://www.cams.com.au/Development/G...Officials.aspx For the AGP, as part of the cost reductions, they are also recruiting for a bunch of non-track based roles: http://www.cams.com.au/Development/G...formation.aspx Otherwise it is already a full team for the track stuff, but if you know someone in a team you could be placed in, anything is possible.
