Wow, out of all the colors that could've been chocen.... But if that is what ownered wanted, that's all that matters. Not a big fan myself of brown on sports cars in general (even with the Macademia Brown on the Porsche 911s), but as long as it floats his boat, it's all good.

Umm. Not to be throwing stones or anything, but ask yourself: "What's the first word that came to your mind when you saw that picture?"

Mine was a four-letter word that rhymes with "bird".

Sweet! I think its a nice sleeper color. On a 1M debadged general public wouldn't know what it could do.

You know guys... last week at Leipzig our tour guide said BMW "could" do special colors for the 1M or any other car built in Leipzig. But the car has to be shiped to Munich and then back to Leipzig. But this is kind of a secret - so don't tell anyone!

And ohh... it will cost you a cool 5K euros for(individual paint) what ever color you want your car painted!!! lol I got the impression they do not do many special painted cars. But it can be done IF you know who to contact.

That looks like Sepang Bronze Metallic, which is a very cool color in the sun.. It was available on the e39 and e60 M5 generations, the M6, as well as the Z4 M Coupe (and possibly other M cars).

Good for him for creating a stand out car, with a proper M exclusive paint color!

I am a little bit confused. This Munich Automobiles is in Singapore. So they take a finished //M car and paint it to the customer's specs? Or is the car painted in Germany and sent to Singapore finished. ???

I am sure IF you have the money and time - BMW M will build you the car of your dreams.

Btw... here are some more pics from the above website in Singapore.

I asked about priority one for paint and other options when ordering my M. I was told it will not be offered on the M by both the initial dealership I had a deposit at as well as the dealership I finally ordered with.

I know the guide told us it could be done, but I think he is misinformed (he said a few things that were contradictory). It can be done for cars built at Leipzig, I just dont think it can be done for the 1MC. Numerous priority one options and colors were available to me when I ordered the 135.

i bet it hides dirt well . i'm not a huge fan...but it's their car and as long as they like it, that's all that matters. it still handles the same.

i wish there was a dark gray metallic for the 1M. GOD that would've been a no-brainer for me!!! to be honest, i was really tossing around the VO and the BSM when i was ordering. i'm still happy with my decision in the end.

Thumbs up

The only Individual color I would pay $5k for is LSB! That would be awesome!

The more I stare at it, the more it grows on me. Do the wheels look more anthracite-y than normal?

But, then I walk away, look at it again and the color just reminds me of a similar-colored Camry down the street. Then again, if it makes you happy ...

What I wouldn't give for a boring silver 1M color choice for it's overall generic and low-maintenance appearance!

I actually like it. I would love to see that in the real world. Has a subtle, but very clean look.

Then again, if I were to be one of the very few, one off colored 1M's, personally I'd have other colors in mind
