2002 Hommage Concept

Nothing to do with the 1M, but thought everyone would find this interesting nonetheless.

Looks like the 1, the 2, and a 2002 had a threesome.

But i like it.

Looks like the 1M with some radical bodywork.

much better than the regular M2 for sure.

it looks like a 1M with a drastic aftermarket bodykit....but i like it anyways! bold and the 2002 Turbo is my favourite BMW of all time after the 1M so maybe i'm biased by the gimmick.

Now that, looks like a BMW. If they put it up for sale I'd be tempted to trade my 135i for it. Best damn thing I've seen since the 1M.

LOVE this thing. Easily the best thing BMW has made since the 1M. It carries a lot of 1M spirit in the design...much more than the M2 did, IMO.

This has to be based on the E82, it looks so much like it!

Its kind of neat, has some issues red another review that if they took it down 20% it would be perfect.

I like it, but I think there are two issues. The front lights make the front look like a Mustang. Those classic round lights are a really iconic design element, and there doesn't seem to be any resemblance to models of old; not even halo rings! And although not as big a deal as the front, the rear lights came straight off an Audi A5, and the rest reminds me of a lexus. Still a nice looking car though. Lots of E8x design elements

Have to reiterate this. If they integrated CLASSIC styled round corona rings, this would be as close to BMW as BMW has been in years.

Also agree with tone it down 20% on some of the body panels.

Then again, if they did all that and gave it aggressive curves and flares, it's the 1 series M. As much as owners values would tank, maybe they should just put it back into production.

If they did that and made less than 1000, I would sell mine.

I wouldn't change a freaking thing on this car. If they announced a release, I'd put a deposit on it immediately. After a few thousand miles the front bumper will look like Palmyra after an ISIS rampage but that's what clear bras are for.
