Will 1M still hold it's value in the near future?

Most desireable due to rarity. They were discounting them too. There are people that are still willing to pay top dollar for a pristine 1M but you can see prices dropping for higher mileage ones. Eventually when half of them are wrecked prices will go up again.

IMHO the three main reasons why the 1M holds its value pretty well:

1. it's among the greatest coming of age pocket rocket packages - rather analog style - since a long time.

The 1M is the little rascal with ants in its pants, who saw the light at BMW M as a kind of wildflower love child.

The M2 is a bit older, more 'domesticated', sophisticated, composed ...and may sometimes wish for ants.
