How to install BMW Performance shift knob/boots?
I just bought the BMW Performance knob & the BMW Alcanta boots, and I want to know how to do the swap. I found this.. but the OP dont have the Alcantara boot... http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=215826 thanks Alex

It is a pretty straight forward process. Your stock boot unsnaps from the console as shown. The shift knob pops off, though with considerable force. The last time I tried this, I hit myself in the jaw with my hand once the knob released its grip. The only tricky part seems to be the figment of the alcantara knob to the new boot. But e link above seems to have that covered. Take photos once you get it installed!

my shift boot dont fit...
the base dont have the same shape than my OEM one... may be its alcantara boot from an E9X !!?!
