90Km - Major service coming?

Hi there
I'm looking to buy a private '08 135 with 90,000 Km and I was wondering if a major service would be coming due to the number of Km's.

The owner has the service book all stamped by a BMW dealer but missing the invoices. I contacted the dealer and asked for them I was told they can print them due to a change of system (come on, are you BMW or what?), so the Service Manager agreed to send me a summary of what has been done to the car with dates and Km's.

Would really appreciate your thoughts
Cheers

Walnut blasting

Check to see if fuel pump, injectors and water pump have already been replaced.

Check when the coilpacks and plugs have been replaced.

There's no such thing as a major service for modern BMWs since they use condition based servicing. Basically you drive until the car tells you it needs something, whether it be an inspection or consumables like brakes, oil, serpentine belt etc or something fails, e.g waterpump, fuel pump, injectors etc.

Replacing the water pump at high kms is not necessary, but rather preventative insurance so that it's less likely to leave you stranded somewhere.

FYI my girlfriend's E88 is at 120,000kms and the water pump is still going strong. No injector issues. Original plugs and coils. Only had the HPFP replaced at about 60,000kms.

99% of them on the road would be the same as that as the owners would just follow the official BMW intervals.

It's no wonder there are so many 100k km cars sitting on carsales for months. As a buyer I'm put right off cars with intervals like that...

Which is why it's best to look for the lowest kms one or one that has a service history of once per 10,000km at least!

Thanks for the comments,
I'm now between:

08 90k Km, sunroof, service detail I posted above, $29k
09 68k Km, sport pack, sport transmission, xenon, parking assist, 10s sound, 2 more years aftermarket warranty $36k

Which way would you go?

Not sure what the sport options are or if really worth it...

Every 135i in Australia came with the M sport kit and xenons as standard. Also there's no such thing as. Sport transmission.

^ agreed

there are a few under $40k with under 50k milage in carsales.
if the better ones are from interstate, it shouldn't be any issue with proper pre-purchase inspection etc...
