Petey G's 2011 128i
EDIT: new black vinyl roof, mirrors, & diffuser
Got her last July.. brand new, came with everything but harman kardon and xenons, but we took care of that with the depos. here are some crappy pics! Mods: Magnaflow catback exhaust, injen short ram intake, bms powerbox, cyba scoops, Depo headlights with HID fogs, black grills, lamin-x front and rear blinkers, escort passport 9500ix hardwired, 35% tint, 50% tint on windshield. Ordered: Koni FSD struts/shocks. Tomorrow i will be vinyl'ing the roof and mirrors gloss black, shark fin either white or carbon fiber. ill decide what springs to do in the next couple days. Any suggestions? Last edited by AlwayzUnce; 08-08-2011 at 09:41 PM.. |

well if you want the real truth... after splitting up with my girlfriend of 7 years and spending every waking minute crying over it, gaining 30 lbs of straight up fat, being depressed as hell legitimately wanting to kill myself.. i thought that i needed change.
went to the dealership, saw this car, loved it, got a good deal on it, bought it. im at a happy 175 now, muscular, banged my first milf this summer, and the car is pretty. big things are in my future, hopefully bigger than a 128 or 135.. just not right now. |

AlwayzUnce, beautiful car, I have the chip/intake/exhaust combo as well, how effectively do the cyba scoops conceal the intake from hot air in the engine bay? I have the injen too, with the shitty heat shield they include but no scoops. Contemplating buying one, but if it only has minor gains, then I won't spend the money.

Your AW with these mods looks really great. Whats your interior color?
Makes me reminisce my old AW e90 328i....

and ill answer why i got a 128.. I enjoy driving non-boosted engines more. 128 can be had with no sunroof / manual sport seats . my 128 has beaten 135's on the track just my .02

heres a better picture of the vinyl... after suspension i want to do splitters and a CF wing. i dont plan on putting any miles on her in the winter, maybe if i go on a date or 2. i think im going to go h&r supersport when it comes to springs. ill update pics on the FSD's and springs in a few weeks when installed. |

I'm glad I decided to show up to that meet then! Although your car has come a long way, dare I say, wilder looking than mine!

Nice car. I like everything about it.
Opting for the M sport is a wise choice. I got my car last july too. It was ordered to my specs except I simply could not afford a 135i convertible. The car had to be a convertible. If I got a 128i it had to be a convertible. I got some options that took it to almost 43k, so I stopped. The blue water color was an absolute must have color for me, and for some reason the M sport wasn't available in this color last May when I ordered. I can justify what I did, as it was my first brand new BMW purchase, and I still have my pristine E30 325i which is an identical color combo (ext/int) as my 2011 128i vert. I'm a relatively young guy. I'm 29. I have no regrets and I don't care what others think about my car and reasons for purchasing it. I like the 1 series for the fact that it's small and the closest new thing to an E30, So my next brand new BMW will be a 1 series (or 2 series as it maybe called) as well. Maybe then I'll get a 135i, but I for some reason just like a nice moutntain road drive and that's it. As long as my car is pristine and always 100% detailed in/out I could care less about what engine is under the hood. My dad has a 1 series M coupe and a E36 M3 vert & my brother has a concours E30 M3. They and our whole BMW CCA family doesn't rag on others for having a "slow" car. Who cares its a BMW and that's our interest. BMW Cars in general.
