How do I reset the service interval?

Hey guys, I just did my own oil change, but of course my car is still telling me I'm due for service. Is there a way to reset that without bringing it into the dealer?

I tried looking around in the iDrive settings, but I couldn't find a way to reset it. I was going to mess around with the BT scan tool tonight to see if that can do it. Does anyone know if that's possible?

Thanks

Aren't you eventually gunna take it to the dealership to get your free oil change? I've changed mine twice since I've gotten the car and haven't reset the service interval. I did an oil change at 2500, 10K, and I'll let the dealership to the next one when the computer goes down to zero. I'm sure there is a way though.

I've got the BT scan tool, so I'll mess with that when I get a chance.

As for bringing it in, I don't really plan on it unless something goes wrong. I think it was only $50 or $60 for the oil change kit from Dan@united, so it's a small price to pay for the piece of mind (knowing it was done right and not having to worry about any mods).

No scan tool needed, it is the same as the e90.

Anyone else have problems resetting the oil interval as described here. I couldn't get it to work. It worked on a couple of other settings but the the oil and brake intervals went to a screen showing reset and a checked box next to the word reset but nothing would change by pushing in the button on the end of the turn indicator.

Went to oil change due (it said -7000 miles because last 3 oil changes no reset ) hit the reset button on dash and finally got the reset? Light. Held the bc stem and voila finally!!! Hope I didn't miss a step North American 128i cabriolet 2008
