*Date: Saturday, March 3rd, 2012
*Track: Willow Springs International Raceway
*Time: 8:00AM – 4:00PM
*Instruction: Included (All experience levels – Beginners OK!)

*Karts: Honda 4-Stroke (50+mph)

Event Details

MClub’s Arrive and Drive is a simple and fun karting program hosted exclusively for Motorsport enthusiasts. This event will be held at Willow Springs Racing and will be open to all driver levels. Whether you are a beginner or a track regular, this event will provide everything from on-track driving technique to full wheel-to-wheel Grand-Prix style racing. Instructors will cover the basic skills necessary combined with advanced racing techniques including: trail braking, sliding the kart and cornering speeds.

Strap yourself into a Honda 4-stroke race kart while accelerating to speeds greater than 50mph! Experience the thrill of wheel-to-wheel racing while not worrying about damaging your personal car. This all inclusive event provides you with everything from the karts to full racing suit, helmet and gloves.

Run Groups: Virgin | Beginner | Intermediate | Advanced

This event will be closed at 40 drivers. Make sure to sign up today as there will be no exceptions once the event fills up.

If you have questions, call us at (818) 351-MCLA (6252). There are 35 tickets left for this event.

Price: $150 (lunch included!) All Inclusive! (Normally $325)

Official MClub.LA Arrive & Drive Karting Event Caravan & Carpool
March 3, 2012

Hope everyone is ready for the karting event this weekend! Since Willow Springs Raceway is about 1.5 hours from downtown LA, the drive into the desert is much more exciting when completed with friends. The current plan is to gather at the Sierra Hwy Park & Ride and caravan from there. The Park and Ride is located right off CA-14, about 2 miles north of I-5:

The caravan will leave the Park & Ride at 6:30am to arrive at WSR by 7:30, which should give everyone time to grab snacks before the driver download at 8am.

If you're interested, post up here so we can get things organized. Post where you'll be leaving from, as others may be interested in rallying to the park and ride (or, if you're travelling from an area north of LA, an additional caravan point can be created). I'll keep this post updated with the latest information, so be sure to check back!
