Saw a Black 1'er , looked like a 2010-2011 as I pulled away from the stop sign on Main Street in Patchogue. Gave you a late thumbs up, lemme' know if ya saw me!

Sorry about that. It took me a second to process who you were by your license plate. But by then, I had already passed you. First time I saw your car. It looks great with the front splitters.

just recently joined this site and started getting into 1-series.

Here along the wasatch front (in utah) 3 series run rampant. I rarely, if ever see 1 series. I probably see an average of about 1 per month. I just recently saw a gray one, debadged, looked like it had the 2011 or newer tail lights, it was clean!

Welcome. Great little cars. Post in the right region and he might say hi. The newer tails are called LCI tails. The tintend LCI ones are called blackline tails.
