Ok minor issue.... Verona Park does not allow Propane or any BBq's and with 15+ cars we would not have space so our options are:

1-South Mountain Reservation- 100$ Permit Fee = $6.66 split for 15 ppl

2-Watchung Reservation- 60$ Permit Fee= $4 split for 15 ppl

3-Bear Mtn- - 6$ parking each no permit fee but farther away

#1 and #2 are very close to Verona (like 15 mins) and even close to NYC.

Let me know what we want to do because i need to apply for the permit asap...but you need to be 100% confident you are coming becuase i will be fronting the cash.


Due to this inconvenience I will be providing the burgers and steaks and hotdogs from omaha steaks 8) as well as the grill and Ach30's propane

For options 1 and 2, at least I can say for certain, food stores aren't TOO far away so if we had to go out and buy last minute, we'd be in good shape.

There is a Large parking lot (use the correct entrance to enter lol) to the left of the inn and you pay $6 then go park in the far left hand corner. You will see a bunch of 1's parked there. Then walk over to picnic tables by this building: (http://www.panoramio.com/photo/8920861)
