how do these work mate? just plug it in and away you go? im not used to plug and play devices but was looking at the evolve one recently

Kinda. It's not a plug it in and use (piggy back) like the JB4 but it's more of a remap the ECU and then un plug it afterwards. You choose the map appropriate to the hardware you've got (whether upgraded FMIC, downpipes, etc...) and whether you want a mild, more than mild or aggressive (which requires 97 RON).

It will save your current map and once you've had enough you can restore your current map and sell the unit on. You can't just sell the unit on after putting a map on your car as it will only map one car at a time.

Anyway, mines now gone to a good home but if I had another N54 I would def look at these again.
