He mentioned that the M button was responsible for switching to a more aggressive throttle map (which we all knew) but that it also increases torque. Has anyone heard of this other function, or is thus just bad information?

Bad information, they mixed something up. If the button would increase torque constantly, they would say the button increases horse power. But they don't, so it doesn't
