How to track your order ???

Hi guys, just came back from the dealer and now have the confirmation with the production number for my 1M!!!! I'm schedule for march production.. my sales rep at bmw laval (montreal canada) tels me some of is customers have a way to track the car when it leaves the plant in germany!!!! Anyone knows about this????, my rep as no idea, and does not want to ask is client..

Congrats on the order! There are a few ways to track the vessel that the car is on once you know the VIN and the vessel's name.

Actually you can also track your build through the Factory using the BMW North America web site.

http://www.bmwusa.com/default.aspx

Just create an account in the "My BMW" section of the home page. Once you login you can enter a Production Number and later a VIN number when the car is close to build date. I watch my 335i this way and pretty much knew the week when the car was built.

Then you can do as was mentioned above and watch the shipping of the car, however if you don't do an European Deliver of the car you may not know the Ship name for shipping to North America.

That's great news that you have a confirmation on your car.

It will not work for Canadian cars
