Got a Lease offer on a 330i...any good?

Ok, I'm located in Southern California and tax is 8.25% where I live, in LA County.

330i Jet Black on Black, Manual Transmission.

Equipped with Sports Package, Premium Package, Navigation, Comfort Access, and Satellite Radio.

36 month lease, 12k miles a year.

2500 down, 550 of which is the security deposit and the salesman said I get back at the end of the lease.

Including Tax of 8.25% the monthly comes out to $530 a month.

Is this deal any good?

Thanks in advance!

Not enough info. Need MSRP, invoice, selling price, and if any more of that 2500 is not going to reduce your cap cost besides the 550.

Ok well the MSRP is $44, 190.

The 2500 down; 500 of it is security deposit....and 1800 is drive off fees.

I don't know how to use a lease calculater...is there way to plug in all of the info to come up with what the selling price must be?

He said he's not marking up the buy rate or the residual.

1800 drive off seems high. How much of that is actually reducing your cap cost?

2500-500=2000 2000-1800=200 cap reduction
so basically you are getting a $44k car with only $200 down for $530 a month. that sounds like a good deal. I would fine out what the buyout is at the end of the lease and make sure it isn't too bad if you decide to keep it.

I know the 1800 seems high...but I think that's the norm...every single dealership I've called says the drive fees for the 330 is 1800, and for the 325 is 1400.

Why? I don't know.

For my 330i, my only due at signing costs were the first months payment and a security deposit. Aquisition, tags and other fees were worked into my monthly payment.

You want to put as little money down as possible as that's money you won't get back if you total the car.
