Geometrical equal means length and mounting are equal

Trying to access availability of aftermarket electronically adjustable shocks for the 1M. Personally I expect that the either E82 or M3 shocks should fit. But I'm trying to find any info/evidence to support that.

These images were taken of the Detroit Prototype Car. Most likely not equal to production muffler.

The label on the shock could reveal model (~geometry) and also might not be available on non-prototype cars
