Canadian European Delivery

Just recently, I've considered taking part in the european delivery program. I put my (refundable) $5000 deposit down at the saskatoon dealer in November, and didn't mention I was interested in ED. I've been reading the bimmerfest ED wiki, and it only refers to USA ED. With that said, I have a few questions:

1) Have I already killed my negotiating potential for ED invoice + $1000ish since the deposit is already down?

2) Is there any negotiating potential for ED with canadian dealers?

3) If there is, how should I go about negotiating a fair price at this point?

The sales-lady I was originally dealing with was a no-bull, straights hooter, but she recently left the dealer so my file has been passed on to some guy who i haven't met in person yet. He may or may not be willing to deal. If he turns out to be a greaseball, I'm gonna try and speak with the edmonton/calgary dealers, but I have a feeling it might be too late to get a deposit in. Any suggestions?

1. Your deposit is refundable, so not every-thing is lost
2. Unfortunately, the answer is no. You even have to pay Freight+PDI same as if you take delivery at your dealership
3. Your negotiation power will depend on supply and demand for 1M. For now it does not look too promising, but you never know

Ok, are all canadian ED purchases pretty much non-negotable in terms of price, or is the 1M a special case since it's a limited run? Any canadians out there with ED experiences?

I don't think ED applies in Canada.

That sucks considering the program was developed in the 60's I believe to help BMW create lifelong customers. Guess that don't want you Canadians to be lifelong customers.

LAME!

Makes me even more grateful for my 7%!!
