QLD is normally hotter than NSW so that's why I'm amazed you went this a lesser performing IC.

You can log the JB4 NA map.
When are we racing?

Okay you got me! I went with HPF because it's so shiny

I saw the JB4 NA map and thought It would be good fun if we pulled up next to a Camry, otherwise I have no use for it. I want more power not less power!! I'm hoping Terry can disable the headlight washer in one of the next updates..

Also I might have to cruise down to Sydney again so we can finally race! Might even plan it so that I can hit the drags with you?

I knew it!

I think the NA map is great. You race a car and lose and as it's open wastegate your car will be ten times louder. Then you switch to map 3 and race them again. Could you imagine their face. Instant 200hp gain.

LMAO you like messing with people don't you Edwin! I was driving through the city the other week minding my own business and had no idea a Mazda RX8 was racing me flat out from the lights. I didn't realise until afterwards but I could tell he and his mate were they added a 135i to their kill list.

Get the F#%$ back out there and find that RX8. I always have run-ins with Golf R's. At least 1 a week, but i must admit I do enjoy it.

Sorry to Jack this thread Sparoz. I think we need to start a "Kill" thread.

Lol nah I know what would have happened anyway. It would be an interesting race if I raced him in Reverse though I haven't come across any Golf R's but one parked next to me at the shops once and they looked fantastic. I did have a APR tuned S3 stalk me the other day though, looked and sounded quick. I think you should create an N54 Kill forum Edwin!

Yeah Vinney's a very responsible driver, he hasn't even raced me yet! Not that anyone ever wants to race me... :-(

No piss taken here. Below is a log of each IC. You can see the HPF increasing from 75-96 at less boost and less WOT. The ETS however running more moost and longer WOT managed to keep IAT's at bay with a lower increase of 71-86.

THANK YOU.

HPF = HEATSOAK!!!

It seems like you took this the wrong way and got a little bit worked up....

No need to get defensive. I was actually intersted, as I'm sure a lot of people are in this topic, and asked a genuine question to aid in peoples decision making process when it comes to purchasing an intercooler.

Becuase, as I'm sure your aware there is a lot of BS out there.

Thanks anyway

I didn't mean it in that way. I was being the smart arse that I am. I was giggling while putting the post together.

Yeah, will do with Engine temps. Waiting for BT so hopefully I can get some engine temps data.

Yeah, just not ready to cut yet . I am not happy with anything on the market really, as the designs are not very professional at the moment. fmic is a cheap piece and I am happy to swap and change as we get more data. Only if I can find someone to custom make one for me .

They all have pressure drop that is very similar. It's just that ETS have been honest enough to inform the people of this cause their testing is one of the most extensive.
