My E87...
Hi guys,
I've been lurking for a fair while but haven't really introduced myself here just yet. I bought my 130 last February and since I've bought some bits from Stu @ BMR (very helpful I'm sure most of you already know). I've also bought some wheels from Apex & replaced the rft's with some PS3! So I thought it was about time I took some photos and showed you all my 1er... 2006 130i (with the factory M-Sport as usual for the Australian 130's) - Blackline LCI's - BMWP Intake - Staggered 1er fitment APEX EC-7's 18", 8.5 et45 (F) 9.5 et58 (R) - 225/40R18 & 255/35R18 Michelin PS3 - I have a shark fin aerial that I've been too lazy to install too, so that will go on at some point. What's next? How long is a piece of string... |

That's nicely done mate. I have the same car in black, with the original 17"s. I have blackline LCI's without the LEDs. Did you put the LEDs on yours? If so, do you mind me asking how you went hooking them up to the number-plate lamps? I've heard it's a bit tricky, thought I'd see how you got on.
Oh, and where did you have your paint done? Cheers. |

Cheers, I bought the Hi version lights (with the LED strips), there's a sort of write-up between me and another member here in this thread.
As for paint, it was only the shark fin so I wasn't too fussed about going to a brilliant paint shop. I just went somewhere local (Castle Hill)... |

Car looks great in LeMans Blue. My old 120i was the same colour and I think it's one of the best colours!

Also, I weighed the wheels before they went on (I know APEX list the weights on their site but I was curious). Fronts were about 8.6kg and rears 9.2kg. For Reference, the standard style 208's were about 11 - 11.5kg from memory. Thanks, I'm loving the colour! But I think I would've been happy with any of blue, black, grey/graphite. |
