Oil filter housing tool
Anyone down here in San Diego got one of these handy? Its Sunday and everything is closed and I can't get the damn housing cracked loose. I tried an oil filter strap wrench and another 3 prong universal type wrench and I just can't get the guy cracked loose. |

Damn never mind. Went to O'Reilly and got an oil filter channel lock like pliers set and was able to crack it loose. Man I was expecting the oil filter housing to have that 27 or 33 mm bolt head on it. Meh oh well at least its off.

^^Yup, that is why I bought an oil filter cap tool from Hazet. I think Leslie tools(sold at Sears, Harbor Frieght or AutoZone and the like) also makes one. As well as you can buy one from any BMW dealer. See my post #6 bellow...
