Simple fact, most don't understand suspension. Even with factual, mathematical evidence most will not agree.
I've found that most people understand suspension in a static sense. For instance, alignment. It is set at a static location but not measured dynamically ... what is your Camber curve? (almost all stock suspension types move in an arc vertically)
It takes measuring and tools to understand suspensions in a dynamic sense.

I've used spring compressors that were even more diabolical than those, only 1 threaded post! Extremely dangerous, and I was extremely naive.
