New To Forum
First off let me start by stating that I hope I'm placing this thread in the right topic. If not, I'm sure I deserve a lifetime ban for my ignorance
I have been on a fence for owning a 1 series (or even 3 series) for some time now and actually settled on a different car about 7 months. Then last week one popped up for sale that I couldn't pass down. I technically haven't made the purchase official but it will be official on Thrusday when I drive down to Houston to pick her up. I look forward to reading reviews, input, and more importantly the random useless humor that can only be found in great forums! |

Welcome. SA---lived there for a couple of years myself, love it. Cha Cha's on Babcock is my favorite TexMex.
Good choice on the car if you get it. |

Got the car and I love her!!!!! Few little things that need some attention (tint on passenger window is coming off and I need to fix the headlight control knob that isnt snapped in)
I plan on taking some pictures of her saturday monring since the weather should be good and cool down here. Also, I already ordered a Berk Street Perfromance exhaust for my first mod and that is coming in on Friday!!! |

Nice, is the Berk exhaust a CAT back bolt on? Does it require any re-programming to avoid codes? Is there a performance increase, change in sound, deeper, louder, etc? The stock exhaust does not seem too bad to me, it has a deep mellow tone. And I am comparing it to other sports cars that make no sound at all that I had to change exhaust on right away- 2010 Subaru WRX and a 2010 Mazda Miata.

-No additional reprogamming -There is slight increase in power but its hard to notice on the butt dyno -Sound is louder, deeper with a hint of exotic higher note on high RPMs (if that makes sense) |
