I've been doing some searching but I cannot find an answer.

What is the difference between the n52b30 and n52k30 engine?

My car has the n52k, which from what I can find is the same as the n52b. Is it just the difference between euro spec and US spec?

N52K is the latest iteration, thats when BMW de-tuned the x30i from 265 to 258. Changes are all related to emissions and the new MSV80 ECU. You have this engine.

You have 230 version, which is N52KB30M1, however the O1 (N52KB30O1) was down to 258ps.

The original 265ps version was known as N52B30O0

Ok so once I swap the disa manifold and get it tuned I should be around the 270 hp mark? That's a pretty significant power jump.

I see better rotors and pads in my future. I don't track the car so I don't see the need for a BBK now. M3 subframe bushings and suspension components, necessary for a daily with that power? I feel it needs an LSD more than bushings.

Yup, BBK is definitely a track mod, unless you are going for style points.

M3 subframe bushings are one of the biggest upgrades for the car. I would put them on par with the DISA manifold. They completely transform the vague sloshy nature of the rear end. LSD is pretty big as well, as it makes power delivery predictable through the rear. I would consider all of them to be needed(except the BBK), but if I was to pick an order it would be subframe bushings before all of that.

Thank you for the advice. The rear end is the most annoying part of this car. It feels like it's attached by pillows. I dare to get it sideways as I have no predictability, and with the lack of LSD, zero throttle oversteer control. Which bushings do I need to replace?

All 4 subframe bushings.

You can do the diff bushings when you do the diff.

WD-40 is pretty good at residue fighting. I used dish soap/detergent and water

Just take apart the whole manifold including sensors
