Unfortunately yes. We don't have control over paint and I have tried to get them to lower it in the past. I work with multiple body shops and this is always the outcome. The body shops only lower the cost when they can spray 10 or more sets of side skirts.

Oh I meant to ask if there is an add on for the 128i trunk that lets it pop open automatically kinda like the 5 series instead of having that 2 tiered lock system where you have to pull up...?

Dan, if I pull the trigger, can I wait to have them shipped in late March? I won't be home until early June from training and then leave at EOM for the desert - hint hint

So, would put them on while I'm home on RR before deployment.

Sure no problem. They might not even be able to ship until late March if you want them painted.

I don't have any Penske VW dealers in the area, but I can call a few local dealerships and see what my price is. My price + 10% is what we'd charge.

I have quite a few international customers who use those shipping companies to get them their parts. Is this something that would benefit you guys? Basically I could ship the parts much cheaper to their facility, and they make sure they get shipped to your country.

I'd love to, but I'm not sure how much room we have to work with on those because I've discounted them so much already. Group buys work best from MSRP. I'd say if we can get 15 people I can probably drop the price to $205.00 plus $6.95 to ship, but absolutely no lower than that.

That's a slippery slope my friend. My 128 has both the front and rear 135 bumpers, both purchased and sent painted to match from Dan@United. Did the instalsl myself.
