Green magic
I tried searching for this stuff to see if it has been discussed in this forum but came up empty.
Anybody ever tried it, heard anything about it? I found a place that sells it and was curious about what y'all might have to say. |

are you trying to be environmentally friendly? I only use Swissvax on my Ultimate Driving Machine.

There are a ton of waterless wash products on the market that are great if you live in an apartment complex with no access to water. I personally would not use a waterless wash unless I had no other choice. And I certainly would not be wiping the car the way they do in the video. Although these new terms like "polymers" are thrown in to make these products seem a lot more than they are, you can still marr and swirl your paint if you do not handle your towel properly. A technique called "rolling" your towel will help prevent dragging of any dirt particles across your paint. Roll the leading edge up as you swipe across a panel to lift the dirt off and away from the paint.
On the upside of waterless washes is it takes a lot less time to go over an entire car. I've done it a handful of times and can finish a sedan in about 45 minutes. You will need 10+ towels. Try also looking up the Gary Dean method. I prefer this over waterless washes as it is much more lubricating. |

I have a friend back home who uses it. He seems to be happy with it. Idk if its because he's a penny pincher or because it does a good job; nonetheless, he's satisfied.

I use Optimum no rinse wash and shine all the time. As long as you use a bucket with a grit gard and a quality wash mit with a micro fiber drying towel it works great.
