I think that foglights are very useful, front and rear, if only for others to see where you are. Now, front fogs that are so high that they're like second headlights I don't get, but I'd welcome a set of fogs for the 135. Otherwise, I'm sure a set of Catz lights would fit in nicely where Brookside mentioned.

And amen to the other things we're waiting on.

And I don't mean to politicize the thread (no flames please) but it's like waiting has turned into a way of life in the U.S.
Wait to pull back the troops. Wait to get a new president. And wait for the 1er.
BMW should rescue us with some new pics. My 2 centavos.:frown::frown:
I absolutely know you probably didn't mean it this way, but it sure seems a disservice to equate the choice of who will be the next leader of the most powerful nation in the world and the decision as to when it would be best to redeploy our troops, with something as relatively trivial as when we get to hear more about a car that we all want.

In my opinion, choosing our next president and bringing our troops home are decisions that need to be made with a level-headed, rational approach. There is NOTHING level-headed or rational about my addiction to the 1er!

I was thinking of photoshopping some fogs on the 135... I'm thinking the porsche 911/audi Q7 LED fogs and put them on the upper side of the brake cooling intakes (if that's what they are)

that said I only turn my fog lights on to see if they still work, never found them useful, even in fog.

Was there a level-headed decision to send them in?
Anyway, just a list...in no particular order.:biggrin::biggrin:

But I was thinking about something else...and don't get mad...about what is the most dominant image of the past 5-6 years.
It's rubble. Things that have fallen down. 911/shock and awe/katrina/roadside bombs/bridges collapsing, streets blowing up so yeah, I'm ready for something fun...like the 1-er.
I might should say that I think BMW has made a huge mistake not releasing more pics over the last coupla weeks. It's been getting boring, maybe a little touchy here?

I have the adaptive headlights on my E92, and the Xenons are great. They are even better when you are turning corners--the lights turn with the wheel--it is actually pretty amazing.

IMO, though, the 135 needs the fogs for a couple of reasons. First--they are a good, functional light. I have only needed them for fog three times since I got my E92, but they DID help. Second, I think the appearance of another pair of lights on the lower part of the 1er's face would help the "frightened cat" look a lot (along with some painted lids).

Just my .02

Thing is, the 128 fogs look good, the way the fit across the width of the "vent". But the functional ducts on the 135 mean that you'll only have half the width to fit them in.

Did that make any sense?? :iono:

No, I know what you mean, and any aftermarket pieces to get the fogs onto the 135 would have to address the lost functionality of those areas.

Whatever the loss would be, which I am guessing would be minimal, would be worth the better look IMO. I just can't believe that the front they unveiled is the final product....just doesn't cut it for me. Something similar to the E92 would have reduced the increased height of the car--something that angles down and to the middle gives a lower feel and more aggressive look.

I am going to agree with the original post, fogs are very important, but won't be put in. I love the A6 led under the finder and willl get those installed. If you dont know them, good, cause you cant see them and they dont light much but the front dam. Dont discount the original post because it is fair regarldess.

That car looks great. The two tone color is unique.
