Anyone here on the forums use this? I've heard it works wonders, but am curious if it will damage my csl replicas. The brake dust is killin me!

Does it do anything above and beyond what normal car wash soap does? I've been told to just use the same stuff you're already using to wash the body of the car and have been doing that for years. However, if this P21s stuff magically keeps the brake dust from sticking or adds additional shine and protection...
Any thoughts?

No it is does not magically keep the brake dust off the wheels. It does help with the stubborn bits of brake dust that just will not come out of the corners of wheels and such.

I use the P21S on wheels subjected to track pad dust; but, I feel like it is over kill for our stock pads. They make a lot of dust; but, it comes off with normal car washing soap, or even plain water. The Gel P21S is great where you want to leave the stuff on for an hour or so to let it work. It is about the only thing that will not attack the finish on the Fikse and still remove the PF or Hawk track pad brake dust. Over $110 for 5 liter bottle makes it pricey for normal use.

Yes it is best suited for stubborn, caked-on dust. There are people out there that, Heaven forbid, do not wash their cars that often. I know, I know... blasphemy but still they do. P21S will get pretty much anything off at that point given enough dwell time.

p21s is great for removing brake dust.
if you are on top of your washing and wheels you can get away with using the car wash etc. I know there is a sale going on with 5 liter refills check out the commerce section. |
