BMW Parts prices Australia going UP!

HI all,

Just a heads up that BMW prices are going to rise at the start of next month, so if you have another car besides your 1, then try and get work done this month. They haven't said by how much but it is going to be :eyebulge:

Rumour is, Mercedes is going to be even higher increase in price. It is all to do with the current exchange rate.

When i know the impact on the BMW performance parts, i'll let you all know.

When the exchange rates goes up nothing happens, but as soon as he exchange rates go down, they start increasing their prices and with the extra LCT, then even worse for us.

Andrew, I know you deal more with performance parts. But if I wanted to replace the trim with OEM trim can that be ordered through you at SoutherBM ???

We tried, but it wasn't as smooth as i would like it to be on a reasonable sized order i made, he finally had to resend another package that nearly left me in a huge negative position. To his credit he did come through in the end, it just cost me way way more than anticipated. Plus i need to consider warranty on parts and now the currency issue is pushing him to be non competitive in some pricing.

However negativity aside, i will always keep trying and looking at ways to provide cheaper prices for the best products.

Yes, we are predominately a BMW service Specialist workshop so sourcing all parts is no problem, PM or email me your requirements and i'll see what i have. I do have an interior kit off of one of the forum members cars, that may suit. Let me know

I pick the car up Monday Arvo from Brisbane BMW will see what I need to get and discuss.

I think its coming in that graphite looking trim which I dont like and I couldnt change to the one I wanted as it wasnt an available for the model in the sports package configuration.

I am after the Brushed Metal look cant remember what the offical name for it is.

But will call you or pm you once I know what I need.
