Will an intake + exhaust increase or decrease gas mileage?
Just wondering, I would love to get the aFe (or injen) intake + magnaflow cat back exhaust and was wondering if it will (with normal driving) increase or decrease the gas mileage that I get now (which is not that good compared to other more gas economic vehicles but I don't care).
Thanks guys (i get about 380-400kms per tank, very minimal highway driving). |

increased, at least for me. I have injen intake and magnaflow. I even drive with a worse foot. I use to get 19 mpg, and now I get 22.5. I take the same path everyday.

So you got better gas mileage? That's pretty good, all you did was the intake and the cat back?
Thanks a lot. I'm just trying to decide which intake I want, the BMW performance one is too much, may get the aFe What should I get the oiled or dry one? What's the difference. I drive in a regular area, average pollen amount not too much dust around or anything. |
