Saw some pics trending on instagram; glad to see the full feature here.

As mentioned before, awesome & respectable build.
You basically did BMW's job for them. This is how the 1M should've been from the factory.

An interesting car. For the next course how about the turbo 6 from the M4 in a 135i with wide body.

Not impressed. This money could have gone a long way elsewhere.

How would adding a supercharger make the car worse?

He already put in a huge low torque motor into a small car and then added the wide body to make it even heavier lol

If anything the car is begging for a SC lol

no intention to supercharge it. If anything I will get a stroker. My main reason for doing an S65 swap was to have an NA car. I wanted the cooling, instant linear throttle and the high revving. A supercharger would induce a lot of the issues I had with an N54. This car is built for a roadcorse. It weighs 400lbs less than an e92 m3 with FBO tuned S65. it is plenty fast and extremely balanced.

Money is not a factor in this build. It was made out of passion and a vision. Most people get it, some do not. I was fortunate that many companies did see the vision and partnered up to contributed to the build and make this car happen. It is essentially takes the strengths of the e92 and the strengths of the 1m and combines them to create a unique car. It is a complete bastard car but is built out of all //M Parts. I take it to shows and people who HATE modded cars love this thing. It appeals to both purists and the more modcentric crowd. It truly has been a compliment to receive praise from both parties.

Supercharger adds more weight and introduces more heat ( even intercooled ones). A supercharger is an obvious choice for someone doing the typical thing. We live in a time where every single BMW in production is FI. NA is more of a statement in the show scene and it has been recognized. And again, this car is built for the road course. If i built it for internet bragging or airstrip, supercharger would 100% be the way to go.

As far as weight goes, there is weight savings throughout the car. CF panels, stripped interior, seats, battery, sunroof delete, lightweight wheels etc. etc. Despite having the m3 parts the car weighs 100lbs less than a factory 1m and 400lbs less than an m3. Its a fantastic car and drives and handles beautifully. Balance was my main focus over power.

in a quarter mile I would probably loose to a FBO 135i, but on the track... this car will take it. It is only recently that BMW's turned into drag cars. I built this thing to embody the traditional bmw values. Again, if my goal was to make a straight line car I could have done so. I had a FBO N54 before I did the motorswap. it was fun on the street but had cooling issues on the track.
