Thank you Golfrr. Jon was very helpful when I was doing the initial 1m conversion and again when I did my sunroof delete. Great guy.

First of all, epic build man! Tastefully modded indeed.

I may do something like this in the near future, minus the 1M kit.

I'll let you know when I'm ready.

Nice build.

I'd love to see someone do a sleeper 1M-S65, take away the hood vents, splitter, cage, etc.. Just the M3 suspension and S65, what a great DD.

What a horrible idea. Take a magnificent engine, and put it in an ugly shell (1-series) and pay $100 K to get it all done. No thanks.

Troll? I'm just including my opinion on the thread which is as equally worthless as yours to the OP.

Sorry you dont like it. Money is irrelevant with this car, my goal was to build my dream bmw. I had a lot of support throughout the build and we made something truly unique and widely appreciated.

This is how the 1M should have been made. That said, I'd love to see it toned down without the over-the-top cosmetic stuff. I mean, the swap is executed so well (as in, pretty much how BMW would do it with no corners cut). It would be great to achieve a BMW-factory-like vision of what the 1M could have been.

Either way great job.

Appreciate it. There is one built in england that would suite your tastes. Its was built by Quarry motorsports. I believe my car was the fourth built in this style in the world and of the ones before me ( Egypt, G-Power, Quarry ), the Quarry car was the one I drew the most inspiration out of. Their car is super clean
