Nice 135i with BMW Performance Parts in NY Auto Show
Got my votes as one of the wicked-est whips
It was Silverstone, with a bunch of BMW Performance goodies, including: rear CF spoiler, exhaust, wheels, suspension, yellow calipers and slotted brakes, from bumper, black kidney grill, CF miror caps, CF interior trim, steering wheel, short shifter, pretty much the works other than small items like the CF strut brace. I wil post some pics hopefully tonight when I download them.

Nothing much, the rep that seemed to know was surrounded by people asking all kinds of questions. The rest of the people were just marketing agents and not BMW insiders (in fact, if you read the NY Times article it tells you there was less and less goood looking models and vendor girls, in fact some were unemployed shcool teachers knowing nothing about the car brands they were hired to represent!).
The X6 ///M was there and most people were asking about that, a travesty IMO. Why doesn't the ///M division give us an M3 and M6 CSL (and 1 Supersport), but has to make an overweight truck even heavier and putting out 555hp which can post quick 0-60 numbers on a straoght line but brace for life upon the first curve...

lol about school teachers..
M is now: - awd - weights more than 4500 lb - comes in automatic What the world has come to.. I'd much prefer a lightweight 1 on a //M mission (hopefully next gen).. Quote:
