Quick shots of the new car

Took delivery in the pouring rain on Saturday, but brought the car to Phil at Detailer's Domain yesterday for a wash/clay/polish/seal.

Looks fantastic. Interesting how they keep on switching between Dunlops/Bridgestones randomly.

Congrats on the new car!!

I can vouch for this. It didn't take very long before you could see the brake dust.

Mine also looks like that but I have the Gray Boston interior. I LOVE the Le Mans blue and the M Sport wheels. Are you on the Grand Dahlia also Brahmzy? I can't wait to get my car, but looks like it's a few more weeks

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I'm really happy with the color and the options I've gotten. Phil at Detailer's Domain was great, knew his stuff up and down, and did an amazing job on the car.

Of course, on the way home, an acorn fell from a tree and nicked my windshield. Then there was an open fire hydrant that created a (very shallow) river across the road on my way home, but the car still looks great.

Great looking car. I didn't realize they changed the mirrors for these cars, I think it's a step backward.

I don't know - how can I find out? I sure hope it's soon - I'm paying for a rental right now. A drunk driver totalled my last car on Halloween, so I'm kinda needing a car, soon, haha.

EDIT: Yes, called my guy and he said on the Grande Dahlia due in to port on the 22nd...

Can't get here soon enough!

Thank you sir.

It seems like there isn't a 2010 owner who has really complained about the new mirrors.

Oh those mirrors stink, I'm getting an Audi. Just kidding, I have no idea what the big deal is some people make, but anywho...

I can't WAIT for my 2010 to arrive, Space grey, M-Sport, Premium, Smartphone.

AHG!

Sorry to hear about the drunk driver total Brahmzy, hopefully no major injuries?

Thanks man. Nope the girlfriend and I are pretty unscathed. My 2007 Pathfinder enveloped us in a blanketed cushion of pillow-soft airbags as we gently slowed to a halt. Ha. More like I took a bag to my body and inhaled about 10 lungs full of toxic post-airbag explosion while trying to figure out WTF just happened. Dude was talkin' on his phone, smokin, while whammered, coming or going to a party. Changed our lives, luckily only sheetmetal, equity and some light bruises were the losses.

If ya ever want to drive a safe vehicle, those Pathfinders are a good option. They crumple correctly and the bags work well.

That said, it'll be fun to get back into a quick car again. Had to give up a heavily modded '05 STi a while back and haven't been the same since. Once I test drove the 135i a few weeks ago, I got that feeling of excitement again. And I have test-driven like 50+ different vehicles in the past few weeks. Once I pulled the 135 out of the dealer, I KNEW it was the one.

Up at 6,200 feet, if it doesn't have a turbo, or blower, it goes nowhere. 370Z's feel like Civics up here. Kinda limits my options.
