I have a convertible E30 I am working on for a friend...love these cars. You should keep the wheels as spares, but paint them in a different color.

Just saw an M3 on the road today contemporary with this car. It actually looked decent even though it didn't seem to be in such great shape.

Very nice. Looks like 88 or older. At least paint the wheels. Hope it's got the LSD and sport leather seats.

A clean E30 M3 is a beautiful car. I would love to own one in decent condition. A friend of mine just bought an E30 M3 that's literally deconstructed completely. Every part is accounted for, but in random boxes. The previous owner was going to build a race car out of it, but ended up selling it to my friend for $1,500.

He's a very experienced BMW mechanic and E30 lover so he already knows by heart which part goes where and how to build it from the ground up. Gonna be a lot of fun watching him build that car back to it's former glory.

I still have my 135 and I haven't begun parting it out yet. I will eventually put it back to stock before I trade it in on a 1M Coupe next summer. Then whatever mods I have that DON'T work on the 1M will be sold.

I don't have any VMR rims. I have a set of Apex rims, that is probably what you were thinking. Also, as with my 135, I will keep all stock pieces from the 1M so I can put it back to stock when I'm ready to get something else. I have an attention span for cars of about 2-3 years. (although, I hope to keep this e30 and fully restore it to brand new condition with a slight drop and nice set of classic BBS's.)
