Grand Venus
Anyone else on the Grand Venus? Can't find much info on the vessels port arrival / departure dates and it seems to be of range for real time tracking.
Dealer tells me arrival in CA on 10/11. Almost home! |

google grand venus vessel. this works with pretty much ALL of the ships that I have tried tracking: http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/shi...MMSI=351034000
click on lat/long. it will display the last reported/known position. not ALL of the ships will show up when they are way out at sea, but this should get you started. hope that helps! Looks like it was last reported out at the Celtic sea. I've seen this on other ships as well, and typically will not be seen again until it shows up close to stateside. |

Thanks v1,... found that link as well, but didn't click the lat/lon thing. Last recorded yesterday, 9/19: http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/def...012:32:00%20PM
I also had trouble finding who runs this ship - as I want to know the CA port where it'll arrive. Hang in there RPM,.... |

Just checked the ship's AIS information and it says it will be into Port Hueneme on Oct 9th at 0300L (local) time. It's currently off the Baja Mexico.
Man I hope that's correct! |

Oh boy oh boy. Marinftraffic all week was showing the last reported position as the pacific side of the canal.
So stoked if the boat and car arrive a tad early!! |

Is the boat pilot drunk or something? For the last day he's been doing figure 8's in the ocean, must have no room in-port for them to arrive early.

Boat arrived physically in port on the 10th,.... and just today the 13th, the BMW tracking site says:
'Finishing Touches' status! Oh man - it's getting real. Wahoo! I'm really really hoping I get the car BEFORE next weekend. Fingers crossed. |
