How do I know if my DVs are leaking?

Hey guys, thinking about buying some forge DVs and trying to determine if it is necessary. I am running stock DVs and just installed catless DPs running map 5 on jb4. Will the stock hold up? What are your experiences? I've read that is varies case to case so then how would I determine if mine were leaking?

For me, I never noticed my dv leaking until I actually swapped them out with forge dv's. The forge ones hold boost so much better that for me, the difference was night and day. It's possible for your DV's to leak without even knowing.

I was wondering this as well. I'm running 19+ psi with mods and logs show targets being hit with stock DV. So maybe that means they're not leaking? The plan is to make the switch eventually.

What was the change? better throttle response? Turbos spooling faster?

When you are running higher than stock boost the CP will fail sooner or later; so even if everything is fine now, we recommend that you change it before it breaks down and then you will to wait a week for a CP to be shipped to you.

Quicker spool, and I was meeting target for boost. I was off by 1 psi before.
