OT: New Mattress time?
Anyone tried buying from here before?
http://www.ergoflex.com.au/about A quick google search comes up with 4.7 out of 5 after 90 reviews! This is either really good online marketing or an awesome bang for buck mattress! Pros: - Just like a Tempur (http://www.tempur.com.au/) but about 1/3 of the price - Special: $899 for a Queen Cons: - Can't try before you buy Cheers.

I had a tempur and I recommend a spring mattress which is what I got now. I think the memory foam mattresses are a gimmick. They heat up heaps and its hard to turn around in the middle of the night it became a conscious thing to do rather than doing it in my sleep.

Agreed, I've had a latex one for about a year now and it's really good.

Latex is brilliant. Have had mine for 3 years now and is the best mattress I've ever had and I've tried all. Expensive but like they say you spend 1/3 of your life asleep.... Hated tempur. They are hot, slow to respond. Whereas latex keeps u cool, responds quickly to different loads and changes. Also for those with allergies it is great as they are much more hygienic than normal mattresses eg no bed bugs, no dust. Be careful of cheaper ones as they are only latex lined or have latex top only. The real deal is latex throughout. They generally last 15-20 years. |

We really liked the Simmons Easyrest/Beautyrest which we discovered at the Westin hotels. We went looking for those, and ended up with a King Coil multi-zone thingo. Has the two layer spring setup. Anyway..it's sweeeet...(but not so cheap)
Those memory foam ones seem like they would be too hot to sleep in. Also, one thing about the latex ones is that they are a PITA to move. We had to roll ours up like a newspaper... :P |

Went to 40 winks @ Crows Nest last weekend... "Tempur Rhapsody Dream Plush" was pretty comfy, molds to you and everything!
But for $6k, I've got better things to spend my money on. We might just bite the bullet and buy an Ergoflex for our new place... For any1 who cares, I'll let u guys know how it goes!
