Sylvania Zevo H8 LED Bulbs?

https://www.amazon.com/SYLVANIA-ZEVO...lvania+zevo+h8

Anyone try these for their angel eyes? Seem fairly new– no reviews yet.

Thanks!

Nobody, huh? I might be the guinea pig. If I pick them up, I'll post about them here.

So I got these and they look great! However I'm getting this error. I guess cause they don't have the resistor that other lights made for the 135 have?

^^That icon means your AHL have failed. Most likely the headlight innards can not swing/L.R. Try tucking up the wires inside the headlight housings.

Is there any damage that can be caused? It looked like the headlights had clearance... I'll pop them open in a bit

Any way to tell which one is affected?

Update:

I cleared the wires out of the way, went for a drive turning the wheel lock to lock in both directions and we seem to be good!

Best pic I can get with my phone. Also posting a pic of the box for anyone interested. I picked them up at my local Advance Auto Parts

They look quite good. Can you post a few pictures of just the angel eyes on without the headlights?

They seem to illuminate both the inside and outside rings almost evenly.

Sure thing, see attached! It's tough to get a solid pic with my phone. The inners are definitely brighter, but nothing drastic. They produce a nice bright white light. I'm satisfied!

Hi Cam36,

I attempting to install the same lights on my 2011 X5 but haven't figured out how to tuck away the control box so it does not interfere with the AHL. Can you give me some advices on the best way to do this?

Thanks,
Chris

the bottom of the headlight is the best location for the power supply, right again the back cover of the headlight

FYI, these dropped to $110.

I might buy these... I'm dying to get rid of the orange/yellow/amber.

Yes get some double sided velcro and fasten the box to the bottom of the lid. That way there is no issues with headlights.

Honestly they look good, but for that price, just fork up a little more dough and get Lux.

The ZEVO is back up to $130 on Amazon. But if you can get them for $110 like I saw earlier, they're $65-90 cheaper...
