All right, fellow Emdenites, we have our oil cooler fixed, our flaps down and look out, Maersk Wind! I would almost guess a bogus position report the last time, but if not, we have averaged 20.8 knots in the last 12 hours. And tomorrow, they are going to deploy the hydrofoils.

I'm assuming the Emden hasn't gone down in the Bermuda Triangle, because the Port of Charleston is still expecting her tomorrow. 12 more hours of no reports on her position, though, and I will need to go out and look for her. I will leave a trail of empty Corona bottles behind my boat so you can track me on Google Earth.

Not surprisingly, the Emden's arrival in the Port of Charleston has just been pushed back a day to 2/14 . . .

Of course, we don't know anything else, because it hasn't reported a position in three days

Emden still shows as due today on the port schedule; Western Highway now pushed back to the 16th. If you are totally crazy, like me, try googling Charleston Harbor webcams: I found 2 or 3, but none of them work for me. Probably my computer though.

Would not be surprised if Emmy doesn't show today, as she would have to be booking pretty hard from her last reported position. Time will tell, I am a 2 hour or so drive from Charleston so while I am tempted, I haven't given in yet.:biggrin:
