This thing just might make me rethink my decision to buy an auto. Would make a nice complement to my S2k - torque...no torque

Have you removed the CDV? Assuming 135i's come with one...

Hi Neon. No, the CDV hasn't been removed. I removed it on my last car, a Z4M, and noticed absolutely no difference. Thanks.

Is this beauty still for sale? If so PM me your best price, I'm close enough to make a day trip if the price is right.

Thanks for the kind remarks everyone, I really appreciate it. I've got several interested parties now, but nothing solid as of yet. I'm pretty much stuck on my price of $29k. There's just no reason to sell it any lower. I also have new videos of the exhaust sounds from inside and outside the car. Email me if you'd like them. As well I've removed those funky looking balancers from the front calipers, and they look way better now. Been driving without them for a few weeks now, and as others have reported, no differences noticed at all. I of course kept the balancers incase you'd like to put them back on. Thanks again.

At this point, I would like to sincerely thank those of you who have expressed genuine interest in this car. To you, this car is still available for sale.

To everyone else, please don't contact me regarding the sale of this car, because I can't take it anymore. I'm sick of the rude, thoughtless people who demand answers to 10k questions, then don't even have the decency to write a simple "thanks" back. I'm sick of wasting my time writing multiple page long emails, taking videos, and bending over backwards for 95% of the people who have inquired about this car. If you say you're going to call, CALL. If you say you're coming on Saturday to look at the car, BE THERE. If we agree on the price and I never hear from you again, you're a complete tool.

To put this in perspective, I've made hard inquiries into probably 8-9 cars over the past ten years, and I've bought SIX of them. If you want this car you want it, stop wasting my damned time. I have never seen tire kicking at this level, some of you take it to an art form.

Those of you who are genuinely serious, we both know who you are and please feel free to continue to contact me. For everyone else, don't contact me about the car please. As well, THERE IS STILL NO PARTOUT!!!!!!! READ!!!!!!

Does the car have any rusting on the bottom due to the cold climate?

Must admit I've never had that question before. No, the car doesn't have any rust on it. Why would cold weather make the car rust? I'd be more concerned about rust living by the sea.

Thanks for the bump BimmerShark.

They're thinking salt on the roads like we do here in MN. Not sure who thinks Missouri get that much snow though so it is still an odd question.

Nice car though, FWIW! I already have my 1-series but if this had been for sale when I was shopping it'd be on my short list. Good luck / bump.

The car is now no longer for sale, at all, to anyone. I appreciate all the sincere offers and interest in the vehicle. I have decided to keep it, as it's an amazing machine, is where I want it mod wise, and anything short of a $75k+ car to replace it would be a waste. Enjoy your 1s everyone.
